A method that starts from records
- Name the process, not the industryStamping, CNC machining, welded frames, wire harnesses and coating are different supply bases. Map your part to a process and an activity code (SCIAN) before you search.
- List plants from DENUEDENUE lists every registered establishment with an activity code, a staff band and an address. Filter by code, state and staff band.
- Keep the ones that exportThe IMMEX directory shows which companies hold an export program. Match by legal name and postal code. A plant with no match may export through a shelter company, so ask rather than drop it.
- Check the tax-fraud listSearch the SAT 69-B list by RFC or exact name. A listing is a question to ask, not a verdict.

Where the export programs are
The August 2026 IMMEX directory registers 5,852 programs. Fabricated metal products (580 programs) and transport equipment and parts (573) are two of the largest activity groups. By registered state, Baja California has 1,025 programs and Nuevo León 874; the Bajío states have Guanajuato 375, Querétaro 315, San Luis Potosí 184 and Aguascalientes 92.
