Checked

Listed in DENUE Since 2014-12 INEGI DENUE · bulk files 2026-09-25
Tells you
The plant is registered at an address, with an activity code and a staff band.
Its limit
The DENUE date is when the plant entered the directory, not when it was founded.
IMMEX export program Autorizado SNICE directory · Aug 2026 edition
Tells you
The company holds an export manufacturing program, with its status.
Its limit
Matched on exact name and postal code. Plants run under a shelter company will not match.
SAT 69-B list No listing Listado completo · dated 2025-12-31
Tells you
The plant’s exact name does not appear on the list.
Its limit
Without a tax ID we match by name. A possible match goes to a person and is never shown publicly.

The name

A witness, a lamp and a mark.

Testigo/tes·ˈti·go/ · witness

A witness

Spanish for witness. We report what the public record shows, and say what we did not see.

A lamp

A luz testigo is a dashboard telltale. Every record carries lamps: lit when checked, unlit when not.

A mark

Inspectors paint a witness stripe across a tightened joint. If it breaks, the joint moved. That is how Watch works.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first.

How much does a Testigo shortlist cost?

A Testigo shortlist is free during the pilot: your first one costs nothing. We have not set a price for after the pilot. For comparison, the US Commercial Service charges $1,050 for an International Company Profile of one company from public sources, and $2,000 when it includes a site visit.

Do suppliers pay to appear in Testigo?

Suppliers never pay to appear in Testigo or for their place in a shortlist. A plant is on your list because the public record shows it can make your part, and for no other reason. We take no money from plants, so the list you receive is the list the registries support.

Is Testigo a supplier audit?

Testigo is not a supplier audit and does not replace one. It is desk due diligence: we check public registries and tell you exactly what we found and what we could not check. Capacity, quality systems and working conditions still need your own visit or a third-party audit.

Which regions and industries does the pilot cover?

The Testigo pilot covers auto parts (SCIAN 3363) and metal fabrication (SCIAN 332) in the Bajío: Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí. That is 1,363 plants with 11 or more staff in INEGI’s DENUE. We are not covering other regions or industries during the pilot.

How long does a shortlist take?

A pilot shortlist takes up to five business days from the day you send us the part and the process. The registry work is done by machine. A person then reads every record on your list and signs the shortlist before it is sent, and each check on it carries its date.

Why is there no tax ID (RFC) on a record?

There is no RFC on a Testigo record because no public source gives it: neither DENUE nor the IMMEX directory publishes the tax ID. We match plants by exact name and postal code instead, and every record states which method produced the match, so you can judge it yourself.

What if a record is wrong?

If a Testigo record is wrong, tell us and we will correct it and date the correction. Every record names its source and the edition we read, so you can check any line against the registry yourself. A plant can ask us to correct its own record at no cost.

What happens when a plant’s status changes later?

When a plant’s IMMEX status or 69-B listing changes after your shortlist, today you would need to check again yourself. We are building Testigo Watch, which compares each new registry edition with the last one and tells you when a plant you follow has changed. A person confirms every alert first.
